KS2 Food Waste live online event and school trip competition

Teachers in Barking & Dagenham – kick off Healthy Eating Week with this special live online event for KS2 students exploring food waste and sustainability via STEM, and enter the competition to be in with a chance to win a class trip.

Sign up now for a special event which will look at new ways to bring food into the classroom with STEM and learn from an expert about the maths and science behind food waste prevention.

  • Pre-event – teachers will receive a pre-event pack with lesson plans linked to the topic of food waste upon registration 

  • Digital event – one hour digital workshop with fun meaningful activities and a chance to share ideas with schools across LBBD

  • Post event – teachers can submit their students work for a chance to win a class trip to the ReFood facility, Europe’s leading food recycler
