2020 marks 75 years since the end of World War II.

To mark this, Premier League Academy football players have interviewed 11 World War II veterans, who were also professional football players, about their experiences during the war. The Football Remembers Eleven Films have been released throughout 2020, with the final films being shared in the days before Remembrance Sunday, 11 November 2020.

Below are as yet unreleased interviews with three of the Football Remembers Eleven veterans. Share these videos with your students to teach them the importance of commemoration.

Chelsea FC Academy players interviewed former player and manager Tommy Docherty, who was called up for national service during World War II.

Birmingham City Academy players interviewed Dudley Kernick, who was conscripted to work in the mines as a Bevin Boy when World War II broke out.

Derby County Academy players interviewed Derby legend, Reg Harrison, who won the FA cup in 1946 and served as a soldier in the Second World War.
