Join us for a digital commemoration event to mark the contribution of the Indian Army to WW2. As well as hearing from speakers, guests in the UK and India will be invited to write a message for India Remembers marigold wreaths, which will be attached to the wreaths when they are laid in the UK and India to commemorate 75 years since the end of WWII.

Host Sqdn Ldr [Ret’d] Rana Chhina, writer, military historian and a veteran of the Indian Air Force, will be joined by inspiring speakers exploring the Indian story of WW2 from the battle of Kohima to the ‘Naga Queen’.  Speakers include Pratap Chhetri, Catriona Child, Adil Chhina, Bhanu Gahlot, Peter Johnston, Mingma Lhamu Pakhrin, Rob Lyman and Sir Mark Tully. You can find out more about all of our speakers here.

All guests will be invited to write a message for India Remembers marigold wreaths. The messages will be attached to the wreaths when they are laid in the UK and India and shared via social media in the build up to VJDay75.  The Last Post will be played in honour of all those who lost their lives.
