Be inspired by the Women’s EUROs and create No Barriers for women and girls.

No Barriers 2022 harnesses the energy and power of women’s football in order to change the way young people view women, promoting respect, gender equality and anti-harassment for the football pitch, the classroom, the playground, and on social media.

Ahead of the Women’s EUROs this July, primary schools across England are invited to take part in a participatory online event, 11am – 12pm, Monday 13 June to make change in the classroom, the playground and the community. During the event, schools will create a Class Charter, making a commitment to make their school safer and have equal spaces for girls.

Schools that submit their Charter will be in with a chance to win a bursary to take their class to a women’s football match.

After the event, schools can do more to get extra points towards winning the bursary. This could be taking their first steps towards being active with football training exercises or even a football match in the spirit of No Barriers, taking their Charter to the wider school and parent community, or embedding it within the school structure.

Any school can take part to cultivate positive gender attitudes and combat harassment in their school. There are a limited number of spaces at the event – let us know why your school should take part when you register to secure your place. This event is open to young people in Year 5 and Year 6.
