Welcome to Football Remembers World War II teacher resource page. 2020 marks 75 years since the end of World War II, and these bespoke resources allow teachers across the UK to mark Remembrance Day with their students. For this commemorative project, Premier League Academy football players have interviewed 11 World War II veterans, who were also professional football players, about their experiences during the war. This project focuses on literacy and history while encouraging students to engage in creative commemoration.
