Training

Big Ideas often supports engagement by offering ‘train the trainer’ workshops to support facilitators using our resources and address difficult topics such as Holocaust commemoration or anti-racism programming. We apply the exact same principles to Big Ideas training as we do to our mainstream programming – it should always be active, creative and engaging. Examples below

Trailblazers for PLCF

The Premier League Charitable Foundation provides resources in under-represented communities. We adapted Trailblazers for use in various settings and provided ‘train the trainer’ support for community leaders working with PLCF.

Gamechangers Teacher CPD

Alongside the GameChangers programme we provide CPD to support teachers to embed social action opportunities in their schools. Our training is a mix digital modules provided on the Big Ideas Learning Management System and live events where teachers are able to.

Big Ideas resources for facilitators of the holiday camps

We train local facilitators to use our resources and troubleshoot any questions during online training workshops. With plenty of opportunities to speak out and share ideas, the Big Ideas training events build confidence and make sure everyone taking part is prepared.

We record our training sessions so that no one misses out and also provide short videos as reminders.
