London Wonder is funded by the Royal Commission of 1851 and is an outreach programme to inspire secondary school students in Barking and Dagenham to envision themselves in STEM careers.
This term, secondary schools took part in special workshops with Royal Commission Award Holders and were invited to attend the Great Exhibition Road Festival on 7 and 8 June.
Students who attended the festival were tasked with documenting it through their own eyes, using old-school cameras provided in the Royal Commission’s 1851der Tent.
