Join us for Cyber Super, the interactive programme empowering children & young people in Northern Ireland to find out more about careers in cyber security – 4 & 5 March

From protecting flight paths, to encrypting phone data and safeguarding bank accounts, cyber security is at the heart of our technology-driven society.

Cyber Super empowers young people by providing them with the tools they need to approach cyber security with curiosity and creativity. Participants will meet a cyber security specialist and try their own hand at solving puzzles to ‘defend’ virtual systems  against a cyber attack.

Through this innovative programme for children ages 7-14 across Northern Ireland, participants will take part in a fun-packed one hour digital workshop with industry role models, to develop essential skills for one of the largest growing sectors. Young people will:

  • Find out about the key skills required from problem-solving and pattern recognition, to creative thinking and team-building
  • Be inspired by industry role models
  • Discover how cyber security careers are open to everyone
  • Take part in enjoyable challenges and activities

Join schools from across the country to dive more into the world of cyber security.

Sign up here for either a primary or a post-primary schools workshop.

All schools will receive a digital challenge resource; two classes will win a special in person educational visit.

Exclusive to ages 7-14 across Northern Ireland. For more information, please email: workshops@big-ideas.org
