Join us for Cyber Super, the interactive programme empowering children & young people in Northern Ireland to find out more about careers in cyber security – 4 & 5 March

From protecting flight paths, to encrypting phone data and safeguarding bank accounts, cyber security is at the heart of our technology-driven society. Cyber Super empowers young people by providing them with the tools they need to approach cyber security with curiosity and creativity.

Northern Ireland teachers will be able to sign up their class to take part in free one-hour digital workshops during Cyber NI Week 2025 on 4th and 5th March.

Aimed at students ages 7-14 years old these fun-packed workshops with industry role models will encourage them to see themselves as cyber security professionals of the future.

 Young people will:

  • Find out about the key skills required from problem-solving and pattern recognition, to creative thinking and team-building
  • Be inspired by industry role models who will share with them knowledge of cyber security jobs
  • Discover how cyber security careers are open to everyone
  • Take part in enjoyable challenges and activities

After the workshops all schools will receive a digital challenge resource and two classes will win a special educational visit to the Queen’s University Belfast Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Education on 24 and 25 March 2025.

Exclusive to ages 7-14 across Northern Ireland. For more information, please email: workshops@big-ideas.org
