Celebrating youth social action for Racial Justice for #iwill week

It’s #iwill week, a time to celebrate the fantastic youth social action happening across the country. Here in London, schools across the city have been working to address issues within their school and community head on through the GameChangers programme.

October proved to be a fantastic month for Gamechangers schools with more than 2,700 young people attending the digital Youth Summit to kick start Black History Month.

Students were joined by an inspiring panel of speakers including Deputy Mayor for Communities and Social Justice, Dr Debbie Weeks-Bernard, Opera Singer Peter Brathwaite and activist Olamide Taiwo who each set challenges for students across the city to fight for racial justice.

It is great to see what young people can do when they rally together to address Racial Justice. Watch our short film from the event to see some highlights.
